L.I.F.E. Teams and Ministry Teams

"L.I.F.E." Stands for Living In Faith Everyday.

L.I.F.E. Teams help us to know God in a more personal way along with others who are on the same journey, give us a plan for our walk with Christ, and unite our strengths for Christian service. They maximize opportunities for four key ingredients of church life:

LOVE:  Express care for each other, form Christian friendships, and pray for one another.

LEARN:  The team applies the Bible to everyday life.

DECIDE:  The team chooses its own schedule, place to meet, and plans for prayer, study and action.

SERVE:  We express our growing faith and love beyond our team. For example, visitation to persons who are ill or homebound, collecting relief supplies, home repair for a family in need, service to the church, etc.

L.I.F.E. TEAMS

L.I.F.E. Teams are led by coaches.  All coaches are to attend a monthly Leadership Community for prayer, vision casting, support, and ministry skills training.  Coaches are supported by Ministry Directors for more personal support, parallel to the key ingredients of all L.I.F.E. Teams.

• CANCER SUPPORT: This is a support group for all cancers and ages. It is for persons with cancer as well as family and friends. Information, resources, and sharing occur in the group. Meetings held every three months or as needed.




• CARING MINISTRY: Mobilize a loving response to those in grief, isolation, sickness, or other needs through cards, phone calls, visits, meals (including funeral luncheons) and special outreach projects. The team is active and operating without a coach.




• CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: Preschool: children ages 3-5. Elementary: kindergarten and up. Children start Sunday worship with the adults at 10:30 a.m., and then meet separately to grow in their knowledge of God’s love. Nursery available 10:15 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. for infants and toddlers through age 3.




• DOG PARK TEAM: Oversee the upkeep, maintenance and all matters involving providing the use of the dog park to our community.




• MEAT & GREET: A once a month gathering where we share fellowship and food. Everyone is welcome to attend this potluck style event in the hosting families home.




• "ONE" L.I.F.E. Team A group Bible study and social gathering that meets the first Sunday of every month at 1:00 p.m.




• YOUTH: A ministry with students grades 7 - 12. Bible study, life skills training, hanging-out together, outreach projects, Youth Worship Nite.
